Haras de Villechétive: Tradition, Passion and Equestrian Connection

Located at 1 rue des Étangs in Villechétive, in Burgundy-Franche-Comté , the Haras de Villechétive is an equestrian place steeped in history and tradition. Since 1972 , it has been managed by the same family, Mr. Daniel Doyen and his wife Mrs. Chantal Doyen .

Historical Framework

The Haras de Villechétive occupies a historic estate dating from 1880 , which was formerly the vacation residence of Gambetta . Its authentic setting, modernized for comfort, offers a peaceful atmosphere, nestled in the heart of the Othe forest.

General Activities

The stud farm offers a variety of equestrian activities for all enthusiasts, from beginners to experienced riders:

Riding lessons : Suitable for all levels, these lessons are taught by state-certified instructors.
Walks and hikes : Explore the magnificent Othe forest on horseback, supervised by professionals.
Accommodation, work of horses and ponies .
Courses : Discover the equestrian world at your own pace or intensively.
Federal exams : From level G1 to G7, take your exams on site up to professional training.
French Riding and Ethology School : Accessible from the age of 2, this school on a human and family scale offers an adapted and individualized approach, as well as a daily life that respects horses and their behavior.
