A walk to discover Lac Blanc

Lac Blanc is a high-altitude lake in the Vosges mountains. It is famous for the Hans rock, topped by a statue of the Virgin Mary, which dominates the lake. During the walk you can admire the snow-covered Vosges landscapes and enjoy the unspoilt surroundings.

Legend has it that a cruel lord once lived in the castle overlooking the rock and terrorised the local population.

Today, ‘Château Hans’ is above all a magnificent vantage point from which to admire Lac Blanc. A statue of the Virgin Mary, perched on Hans Rock, dominates the lake.

Let yourself be transported by the immaculate white of winter, which adds a unique dimension to this wild and magical site. Let yourself be guided by a state-qualified mountain professional, whether you're discovering the beauty of the area during the day or watching the sunset under the stars at night...

With your hiking boots on, you'll be able to share a unique moment with your loved ones, your family or your friends and appreciate the riches of our mountains.

All our guides have a high level of training, guaranteeing that they are competent to supervise, lead, teach and train people or groups safely in the mountains.

Our escapade will take us through a beautiful fir forest to finish our descent back to our starting point.

Option to enjoy a mountain menu in a typical Vosges farmhouse inn.
