Discover wild and protected Camargue’s Natural patrimony. Accompanied by a naturalist guide, for 2h30 you will enter the Reserve’s core to observe the scenery and the numerous species that lives in our marches: herons, ducks, birds of prey, shorebirds, flamingos…
The rendezvous is fixed at Vigeuirat Marshes’ reception.
The guide take you onboard of a electric minibus to the Natural reserve’s core, 5km away in the south of the reserve.The visit starts with a panoramic view on the top of a high platform.Then, you will walk to 1 or 2 observatories to observe birds living in our marshes (short walk, around 1km round trip).
The guide will give you numerous explanations about Camargue’s landscapes and wildlife and you will be able to use a spotting scope to watch the birds.
The return to the reception will be done in minibus.

Other info | On arrival, you must present yourself at the reception to check your reservation. Think about checking the meteorological conditions the day before and adapt your outfit accordingly.In the case of unfavorable conditions (strong wind or heavy rain), the tour may be cancelled. |

Une visite a ne manquer car elle permet d’acceder a des environments de la reserve qui ne sont pas ouvert au publique ce qui permet la decouverte d’especes qui ne sont pas forcement visibles sur les sentiers amenages. Le deplacement en vehicule ouvert de tous cotes permet a tout le groupe de profiter des oiseaux (et mamiferes) reperes et suffisament de temps est accorde a l’observation a partir des abris. En temps que ‘birders’ nous avons ete combles mais la visite convient egalement aux novices. Of interest: I visited with my partner who doesn’t speak (much) French but this proved not to be a problem as approximately half our group were British and our very enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide was also able to speak English.
