On the programme

We will pick you up at your hotel in Madrid and transfer you to the city center to start the guided tour according to your interest. Together with an expert official guide, you will be able to discover from the most emblematic places, learning about their history and legends, to lesser-known places or secret corners where you can unleash the photographer in you and get some wonderful photos of the city.

You will also visit the Prado Museum, one of the most famous museums in the world and the most visited in Spain. It houses paintings by Fray Angélico, Roger Van Der, Albrecht Dürer, Bosch, Raphael, Titian, El Greco, Rubens, Rembrandt, Ribera, Velázquez, Goya and many other outstanding painters of classical European painting. On November 19th, in 1819, it opened its doors for the first time. Thanks to the support of María Isabel de Braganza, wife of Fernando VII, the building that Juan de Villanueva had designed as the Natural History Office finally housed an important part of the royal collections. Over the years, private donations and purchases have expanded the collection of the art gallery. Although the museum was created to house painting and sculpture, it also has important collections of drawings, engravings, coins and medals, and decorative pieces. After the visit, you will have the transfer back to your hotel.
