Visitors set out to conquer the summit by penetrating into the very heart of a 240 million-year-old rock, and are rewarded with a breathtaking view and the unique atmosphere of this emblematic giant of the Northern Vosges.

Free visitThe castle, set in a spectacular rock, has extraordinary dimensions which only become apparent at the foot of the surrounding walls. Guided by reconstructions of the monument which superimpose the past on the present, the visitor discovers exemplary military architecture and water management, and immerses himself in the history of the family saga in the ancestors' gallery. Then, he or she releases his or her imagination by progressing through the extraordinary maze of rooms and staircases in the heart of the sandstone and reaches the summit, not without having admired the prowess of the builders of yesteryear. The sublime landscapes of the Northern Vosges and Palatinate parks are then offered to him or her.

You can exchange this ticket for a pass at the ticket office before entering the castle.

You will also receive a tour document at the ticket office in French, German, Flemish, Spanish, Italian or Russian.

All tickets can be downloaded in advance.
