Convenient, good value, well organised
The coach was on time in both directions. It leaves from a convenient location (Ercolano train station) which is well marked with large signs. Decent value, well organised.
Great experience
Was initially worried due to the mixed reviews online but the vesuvio express did exactly the job. The check in process was easy, I had bought tickets online beforehand. The bus left on time and we had 2 hours at the top which was more than enough. Return Bus departed on time and all in all was fantastic experience.
Cheapest way to get there
The experience went smoothly for my husband and I, who purchased just the bus tickets. The bus left on time (the first bus, 09:30) and was waiting for us at the scheduled time. I wish you could take a later bus back to have more time, but I couldn’t find that option with any transportation service. I would recommend this as it was cheap and efficient.
