Easy trip up to top car park
Easy service for those wanting to walk up.mount vesuvius. My daughter and I had a great time. It is very much a safe (apart from the heat) tourist trail to see the crater and view. Easy to book and get the coach up. BTW the coach wasn't sure conditioned and it is a windy journey down. Just bear in mind go early in the day if you can as there is no shade of course :)
Good experience overall
The driver was very friendly, and the staff at the reception were very accommodating when we arrived 35 minutes late for our shuttle. We felt safe throughout the journey despite the sharp and tight curves. However, there were organized groups in the transport with us. The driver made additional stops along the way so people could take photos, and we were made to wait unnecessarily for the guides to arrive before being let off. In the end, we arrived at Mount Vesuvius an hour and a half late (the ticket allows up to one hour of delay). This was stressful for us because we didn't want to miss our chance to climb it.
