Unsufficient customer orientation
The organisation at departure could be much better. Typical Italian style: no indication whatsoever where to go, where to wait, change internet tickets for other ticket, can I go on the bus (first yes, then no, followed by discussion in Italian leaving the customer in doubt). Chaotic! The transfer was allright. Return trip: same chaos when boarding. Had to be at 12.15 on the parking to catch the yellow bus. All customers were on time, but no yellow bus ! When it finally arrived, we were denied stepping on board as the driver shouted "Naples", leaving all customers for Ercolano Scavi in doubt. No clear communication. Improve the customer orientation, avoid contradiction!
Great experience
Really enjoyed visiting Mount Vesuvius. As a transfer service to get to the park this was good. It's not a tour bus, expect service more like a regular transit bus, but was on time, got us there and back and the driver pointed out great views as we drove past. Bus was roomy and comfortable. Departure location is very close to Herculaneum (town buried and preserved like Pompeii) which is worth a visit. Recommend.
