The Squares district walk August 2023
Our guide (Eve) was extremely knowledgable and very engaging. She made everyone feel at ease and able to ask any questions. The walk was fascinating whether or not you had any previous knowledge, as everything was put into context (social, economic, architectural etc.). We also saw some amazing buildings. Although it was a 2 hour walk, the time flew by. The only issue we had at the end was stupidly forgetting to carry cash with us for the voluntary payment (I’d booked it months before and had been using my bank card to pay for everything up to that point). Using an app from a British bank is not viable but luckily there was a cash machine nearby and Eve was incredibly patient and laid back about the situation. Otherwise we had a fantastic morning. I would definitely recommend this walk to anyone visiting Brussels whether or not they are into Art Nouveau. Fascinating!
Interesting and fun!
Excellent and knowledgeable guide!
