Book your Saint-Emilion wine tour with an eco-friendly agency
A half-day in the most famous village around Bordeaux, to discover the highlights in just a few hours! Take a small-group tour of a wine estate, taste Saint-Emilion's famous wines and visit its magnificent medieval village.
8:55 am: meet in front of the Cité du Vin (Wine Museum). Your guide will welcome you and explain the day's programme.
9 am : departure.
We'll start the tour at a family-run, organic wine estate. You'll visit the vat room and barrel cellar and learn how Saint-Emilion wines are made. The visit will conclude with a tasting of wines from the winery.
We continue with a guided tour of the village of Saint-Emilion. Your guide will introduce you to Saint-Emilion and lead you through its narrow streets, squares and main monuments. It's medieval history at its best in one of France's most beautiful villages! You'll also have the chance to sample the delicious Saint-Emilion macarons and take plenty of photos from breathtaking panoramic viewpoints.
Around 12:50 pm we'll be back on the road, heading back to Bordeaux.
1:30 pm: return to Bordeaux (+/- 5 min.).

Fabulous small-group experience
This was such an enjoyable experience. It was so nice to have a small group (7 people) - it almost felt like a custom private tour. The winery was a small boutique organic winery. The winery host made a good presentation and came across as very authentic and uncommercial. She specially selected wines to compare 2016 and 2018 vintages. Enjoyed the walking tour of St. Emilion. Our tour guide Emmanuel was very personable and well-informed. He engaged the group in dialogue. I especially appreciate that his tour company emphasizes sustainability and organic wineries. All in all, I'd highly recommend this tour!
