Itinerary:

Departure to Saint-Émilion
As soon as you leave Bordeaux, you will discover the green countryside and the multitude of plots of vines with evocative names. First the parcels of Entre-Deux-Mers between Garonne and Dordogne, then the appellations of Libournais, Pomerol, Lalande de Pomerol, Fronsac, and finally Saint-Émilion and its satellite appellations, Montagne-Saint-Émilion, Saint-Georges Saint-Émilion, Lussac Saint-Émilion, Puisseguin Saint-Émilion.

You will enjoy discovering these castles in the middle of the vineyards. You will be charmed by the beauty of this heritage, which since the French Revolution has continued to improve.

Visit of chateau Franc-Mayne
We will take you to visit one of the magnificent chateaux that make the reputation of Saint-Emilion wines. Grape varieties, destemming, vatting, fermentation, fining ... you will know everything about winemaking, the different grape varieties used and blended wines. You will be able to see that the modernism of today’s cellars goes perfectly with ancestral working techniques, in order to give birth to wonderful vintages each year, always with an assertive temperament.

Château Franc-Mayne, by allowing you to visit the limestone plateau from the inside, will give you the keys to understanding the mineral notes of the Grands Crus of Saint-Emilion. This visit will conclude with a tasting of the estate's wines. During this tasting, you will be given valuable advice for aging, for your future purchases of Saint-Émilion wines.

(The chateau is given as an example. The chateau visited is subject to change, depending on the availability of the estates.)

Saint-Émilion village
you will discover through the charming cobbled streets, the pretty little medieval village of Saint-Emilion. Your guide will tell you the many anecdotes and adventures of its long and tumultuous history. You will discover how the religious practice and the vineyard are mixed and complement each other. You will relive the history of France, which has made this village an exceptional site listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Les Marronniers restaurant
Lunch will be offered to you in a charming little restaurant, in the middle of the village of Montagne, very close to Saint-Emilion. The restaurant's traditional French cuisine will delight you. Your meal will be accompanied by two glasses of wine.

(The restaurant is given as an example. It is subject to change, depending on availability.)

Visit of chateaux La Croizille/Tour Baladoz
It is not one but two chateaux that you will visit here. 2 styles, 2 atmospheres and a breathtaking view. And tasting at the end of the visit of course.

(The chateau is given as an example. The chateau visited is subject to change, depending on the availability of the estates.)

Visit of chateau Taillefer
For this last visit, you will discover the Pomerol appellation. This château is the property of one of the most emblematic families of the appellation. Of course, your visit will end with a tasting of the estate's wines.

(The chateau is given as an example. The chateau visited is subject to change, depending on the availability of the estates.)
