Departure to Saint-Émilion
As soon as you leave Bordeaux, you will discover the green countryside, and the multitude of vineyard plots with evocative names. First the plots of Entre-Deux-Mers between Garonne and Dordogne, then the appellations of Libournais, Pomerol, Lalande de Pomerol, Fronsac, and finally Saint-Émilion and its satellite appellations, Montagne-Saint-Émilion, Saint-Georges Saint-Émilion, Lussac Saint-Émilion, Puisseguin Saint-Émilion.
You will enjoy discovering these castles in the middle of the vineyards. You will be charmed by the beauty of this heritage, which has continued to improve since the French Revolution.
Visit to a 1st chateau in Saint-Emilion Grand Cru
We will take you to visit one of the magnificent chateaux that make Saint-Emilion wines famous. Grape varieties, destemming, vatting, fermentation, fining... you will know everything about winemaking, the different grape varieties used and blended wines. You will see that the modernism of today's cellars combines wonderfully with ancestral working techniques to give birth, each year, to wonderful vintages, always with an assertive temperament.
Visit of the village and the monolithic Church
You can stroll through the medieval village of the monk Émilion. The village, located at the top of a hill, offers a breathtaking view of the surrounding vineyards, among the most famous in the world. You will be able to appreciate the architectural richness of this heritage, where constructions built from the 11th century to the 21st century coexist. You won't resist taking out your cameras to keep a souvenir of these enchanting panoramas. You will also visit the underground monolithic church with a guide, who will tell you the story of the monk Emilion.
Free time in the village
You can have lunch in one of the charming little restaurants in the village, or choose one of the many snacks to eat before continuing with the afternoon visit.

Visit to a 2nd château Saint-Emilion Grand Cru or Pomerol
For this last visit, depending on availability, it is the Pomerol appellation that you will discover, or a second Saint-Emilion Grand Cru château. Obviously your visit will conclude with a tasting of the estate's wines..
