Discover the most beautiful vineyards of Bordeaux, for a day. Discover the vineyards and wines of the 2 banks of Bordeaux: Saint-Emilion and Medoc, with picnic lunch and wine included.
Depart from the city center of Bordeaux to discover the most beautiful vineyards from its right bank to its left bank for a day (including a walking tour in Saint-Emilion, lunch, and visit & wine tasting at 3 different Châteaux).
To start, you will go with your guide for a walking tour of Saint-Emilion village (classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site), and its historical monuments.
Then you will visit and enjoy a tasting of 3 wines of a Saint-Emilion-Grand-Cru Château. You will learn about the terroir, the history and the art of blending which make this appellation so unique, in a very convivial way.
There, you will enjoy a picnic lunch including local, artisanal, tasty products: a selection of cheeses and “charcuterie”, a typical basque dish, and a fruit dessert, accompanied by a glass of the estate wine.
In the afternoon, you will go on the left bank to the famous Médoc region, for a visit and wine tasting (3 wines) in a Château Grand Cru Classé from Margaux appellation (1855 classification).
Then your guide will make a stop by the legendary Château Margaux, an opportunity to take some pictures, before heading to your third Château for a final wine tasting (3 different wines).
This small group tour (8 people max) in an ideal setting will allow you to learn about the art of winemaking and tasting, and to ask all your questions to our guide!

So glad we took this tour!
This one (very full) day tour exceeded our (wife and I) expectations. We visited wineries on the right and left ban and learned a lot about the history and particulars of the Bordeaux region and wine enterprise. Our English speaking tour guide was great, and the relatively small size of the group (six plus our guide) made it a very personal experience. We almost didn't do it because of the price - but left with no regrets.
Great day in Bordeaux
All was great and we especially appreciated our guide Pierre.
So worth it!
This was without a doubt one of the best days of our trip across France. Vincent is a terrific guide, he has so much knowledge about wine and made it very easy for us (as beginners) to understand. He also had great recommendations for things to do in Bordeaux for the rest of our stay there. Not to mention the vineyards are beautiful and the wine is delicious. Definitely recommend doing the full day so you can try wines from multiple regions!
