The Champ du Feu resort is the highest point in the Vosges mountains in the Bas-Rhin department (1,100 m).
Four departure times to choose from: 10:00 a.m., 2:00 p.m., 5:00 p.m. or 8:00 p.m.
You will discover
➤ Champ du Feu (Hochfeld in German) is a 1,099 m high mountain located in Alsace in the Vosges, in the Bas-Rhin department. It is located about 10 km southeast of Schirmeck. The summit is also a pass.
➤ Champ du Feu is the highest point in the central Vosges and in the department. The summit plateau is marked by vast expanses of moorland and peat bogs, whose vegetation has subalpine characteristics (including mountain pines).
➤ The 20 m high observation tower was built in 1898 by the Club Vosgien, but access to it is prohibited because it is in an advanced state of disrepair. The tower is currently being renovated and should be accessible again in 2022-23.
➤ Due to its good visibility conditions, the mountain is also popular with amateur astronomers. In winter, Champ du Feu is a busy ski area centered around Le Hohwald.

➤ 9:45 a.m. or 1:45 p.m. or 4:45 p.m. or 7:45 p.m. Briefing by your professional mountain guide on the outing itinerary.
➤ 10:00 a.m. or 2:00 p.m. or 5:00 p.m. or 8:00 p.m. Departure for the highest point in the Vosges mountains in the Bas-Rhin region, “Champ du Feu.” It offers a view of the entire Alsatian valley. It is one of the best places for stargazing in Alsace and eastern France. To end our trip, we will cross a magnificent pine forest.
➤ 1:00 p.m. or 5:00 p.m. or 8:00 p.m. or 11:00 p.m. Packed lunch prepared by us in the heart of nature near the Champ du Feu tower.
Your guide will adapt the difficulty and distance to the level of the participants. Several groups will be available (depending on the number of people).
Level 1 very easy (accessible to all), level 2 easy, level 3 medium, level 4 difficult.
Prices: €39 per adult, €29 per teenager (12 to 17 years old) and €19 per child (6 to 11 years old)
