This guided tour of the Alcazaba of Almería is designed to offer a complete immersion in the history, architecture, and organization of the largest Arab fortress built in a single operation in Spain. During the tour, participants will explore the two Muslim enclosures and the Christian enclosure with a specialized official guide, gaining an understanding of the architectural transition and the strategic use of this military citadel throughout the centuries.
The tour includes the official guide throughout the visit and entrance fees to the monument. It does not include transportation to the meeting point, located at bus stop number 1 at the foot of the Alcazaba, just before the first steps leading up to the entrance, nor does it include food or drinks. Participants are advised to wear comfortable shoes suitable for walking on cobblestones, and to bring sun protection and water, especially during the warmer months.

You can park in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento parking garage. For large or tall vehicles, there's the dock parking garage. It's also the most economical option for parking for several hours.
Transport
Line 1 departs from the Bus Station and travels through the entire historic center, arriving at the Alcazaba gate. It drops you off right at the meeting point.
